This place hit two favorite metrics: popular places that live up to the hype; and places that do vegetables excellently. Excellently. Vision of the chef creating the menu plus talented chefs+cooks working day-to-day--sensational. The mushroom salad (perhaps previous variations called warm mushrooms or frisée salad) was the highlight, delicious flavor that brought out the best of the ingredients and their different textures. Enjoyed the Croque Madame although slightly dry beneath and the sage wasn't wildly noticeable. If you can help it, try not to go alone, go with others so you can try as much of the menu as possible.

Super delicious burger and really nice staff. I had one of their mocktails since I can't get drunk but I'll surely be returning. It was lively but not overstimulating. They even have a pretty outside area as well.

Great food, great service, loud and joyous room. But, oh boy, the music. Total dad rock ala Coyote Ugly/Applebee's/Cracker Barrel. People seemed to enjoy it, but couldn't tell if it was ironically so or if it was New Jersey Nite Out. I'd return.
